La proposta di legge popolare prevede la preferenza diretta, un massimo di due legislature, anche non consecutive, per ogni parlamentare e la ineleggibilità in caso di condanne penali definitive.

The popular draft bill makes provision for direct preference, a maximum of two terms in office, albeit non-consecutive, for any parliamentarian, and ineligibility in the event of final criminal conviction.

Questi tre punti sono per me vincolanti in ogni futura e presente discussione sulla legge elettorale che non si può fare né a porte chiuse e neppure con incontri bilaterali di cui non rimane alcuna traccia scritta.

For me, these three points are non-negotiable in terms of any present or future discussions regarding the electoral law, which must not be discussed behind closed doors or in bilateral meetings, where there is no written record of the proceedings.

Le elezioni sono il punto massimo della democrazia, le loro regole vanno discusse pubblicamente avendo come obiettivo la massima trasparenza e una reale rappresentanza dei cittadini in Parlamento.
