A plot that was apparently very successful, especially if you consider the fact that the judges and politicians that were under investigation by De Magistris, including those arranged for the tapping of reporters and the forces of law and order’s telephone conversations in an indirect attempt to investigate the Public Prosecutor himself, have either remained at their post or have gotten ahead, while De Magistris was snatched away from his most controversial investigations (Poseidone and Why Not) and then transferred out by the Upper Council of the Magistrature after having being banned from ever again working as a Public Prosecutor.
