In fact, things get worse: the Berlusconi Government has passed a special legal decree (pompously named "Marzano bis" which specifies that, unlike the case of a normal insolvency, Alitalia’s goods, assets and business activities (e.g.: aircraft, instrumentation, real estate, etc) may be sold off immediately, even in "piecemeal" fashion, without even exploring the possibility that there may be a potential buyer out there, such as Air France was just a few short months ago, who is prepared to take over the company and thereby guarantee the future of both the company’s operations and the employees’ jobs.

Anzi peggio ancora: ha espressamente previsto che il neo Commissario straordinario, l’ex Ministro del Governo Prodi Augusto Fantozzi (un altro transfuga opportunista che, come Giuliano Amato, si è messo pure lui "a disposizione del nuovo padrone") possa, da subito, cedere, vendere, affittare (insomma farci quello che vuole) i beni, le attività ed i rami d’azienda produttivi, il tutto a "trattativa privata", cioè nel chiuso di una stanza come se fosse roba propria.
