For sure your
students will want to travel, so why don’t we acquaint them
with some of the numerous signs they will come across.
Here

First
of all the teacher is wise to discuss the meaning of each sign. The
students then can try and add others to the list. When this is done,
let them divide the signs into groups. For example, those seen in the
city, while shopping, at work, at a restaurant etc.
They
will become more aware of signs when watching American or English
movies. Their power of observation will be rewarded and may more signs
can be added to their list.
It
might be a fun activity for the class to make up their own signs for the
classroom.
