Spring is here!!!
britannico, americano, australiano, scozzese o indiano!
We all know that the season of Spring brings with it a sense of rebirth. The earth is green and flowers perfume the mild air... What can we teach our students about this season? I think it would be interesting to talk about trees and plants in our gardens.
Here is a
short list of some trees:
Then of
course, there are fruit trees:
There are also
lots of flowers that bloom in the Spring and later on in summer: Internet can be a help for the teacher, since she can scan photos of these trees and flowers, to show the children. These photos can be labelled and placed on a chart.
Now the
children can choose their favourite flowers, and draw a picture.
They can
also draw their "special Garden" with their favourite flowers
and trees. Choose a place in the classroom to display their work!!! Add a lot of praise and maybe even a song about Spring or a short poem
A Nice thought "The earth laughs in flowers." Ralph W.Emerson
