What do kids love to eat in the summer?
britannico, americano, australiano, scozzese o indiano!
Yes, you guessed it…..ice cream! The
teacher can prepare paper "ice cream cones" with
the name of the flavour on each one. There can be an "ice cream
man" to sell these cones. While the
teacher is working with a small group, the other children can
draw a picture of their favourite flavour ice cream cone. They can also note that ice cream can be served in a cup. There are also ice cream "pops", and ice cream sandwiches. It would be a good idea to have some photos available for the children to see. July 17th, in the USA is National Ice Cream Day. President Ronald Reagan was the one to make it official, and the American people certainly liked his idea!!!
"Without ice cream there would be darkness and chaos."
