Create an "English Box" for bringing home their work
britannico, americano, australiano, scozzese o indiano!
Children love to show off and there’s no better way for them to do this than having them bring home some work pages or games done in school.
When mother or
fathers asks, “what did you learn in English today?”, they can
show them!!!
The teacher can
ask the parents to give their child a shoebox to keep
their word games. The children can decorate their box
by pasting coloured magazine photos on it and on a card write
the words, “English Box.” For young children it’s important to have them actively involved in the lesson. They are not interested in hearing long “teacher talks”, for their attention span is very limited. There is also a sort of pride in what they are learning and doing in English, that shouldn’t be overlooked. Give a lot of praise to keep them motivated.
A Nice Thought
