The Daihatsu Costa was a
concept car created by
Japanese automobile manufacturer,
Daihatsu. The Costa was first introduced at the
2005
Tokyo Motor Show. The Costa is basically a
city car that was designed to be taken to the beach.
The Costa is a lightweight for an automobile, weighing only
1,654 pounds. The Costa does not feature any doors, similar to a
golf cart, as well. The Costa is powered by a 660 cc
turbocharged 3-cylinder engine. Its light weight and
comparatively powerful engine makes the Costa relative swift for
its size.
Currently, the there are no plans to bring the Costa into
production.
