
Nano-emissive display

Nano-emissive display is a type of flat panel display based on carbon nanotubes. A prototype model was demonstrated by Motorola in May 2005. Nano-emissive display (NED) is Motorola's term for their Carbon Nanotubes (CNTs)-based display technology.
Motorola received a 2005 "Nano 50 Award" for their technology from Nanotech Briefs. The awards are to recognize the top 50 technologies, products, and innovators that have significantly impacted - or are expected to impact – the state of the art in nanotechnology.
