Komodo is an IDE for dynamic languages. It is published by software firm ActiveState, formerly a division of Sophos.
Komodo supports Perl, PHP, Python, Ruby, and Tcl, on Linux, Mac OS X, Solaris, and Windows. It is built on the Mozilla platform.
Komodo's source code editor provides source control system integration (CVS, Perforce, and Subversion), web technologies support (CGI, XML, and XSLT), a regular expression toolkit, and debugging support.
Komodo is available in two editions; a low cost Personal edition for non-commercial and education use, and a Professional edition. The Professional edition adds on a number of features, including Solaris support and source code control.
