Accrisoft is a software company which develops a commercial content management system called Accrisoft Freedom™. The Freedom software suite runs on the industry standard Open-source software L.A.M.P platform.

Accrisoft Freedom was originally developed on Virtual private server (VPS) technology from Verio. The system is distributed through a reseller channel. The administrative interface is able to support many languages, including English, French, German, Spanish and Euskara.

The Accrisoft Freedom is a combination of unified software applications which manage websites. Each of the products is identified by a unique color, it consists of the following subsystems:

  • Site Administration (Blue) - this is similar to a traditional content management system, and allows the user to change the contents of the website.
  • Site Configuration (Green) - this is a more technical section which allows template generation, stylesheet changes, and access to the database, etc.
  • Server Configuration (Purple) - this is a product similar to SWSoft's Plesk server administration which allows the user to manage email accounts, user accounts, apache, mysql, etc.
  • Server Management (Red) - this allows the user to manage multiple, even hundreds of websites and servers with a central management control panel.
  • Reseller Business Tools (Orange) - this is a combination of tools which allow customer billing and integration with Intuit's QuickBooks.

Requirements

As of 27 July 2006, the minimum requirements consist of:

  • Apache HTTP Server (version 1.3.19 or above)
  • MySQL (version 3.23.x or above)
  • PHP (version 4.2.x or above)

Awards

VARBusiness named Accrisoft Freedom™ and the Verio Virtual private server and Remote Backup managed storage service for its 2005 "Mid-Market Products of the Year" Award.
